Foolery at its best.

The servants that Macbeth are blaming wake up from their sleep, they are drunk, and they limp as they walk to answer the door. Macduff and Lennox are the knockers and they are let inside. Almight Macbeth meets up with the two guests to greet them and walk them to King Duncan's sleeping quarters. Macduff was the first one to enter the room to find the King murdered. The clever Macbeth pretends as if he doesn't know who killed him but since the porters were the closet to them he kills them just to save hisself.

Lady Macbeth played a role in the trickery because she faints as if she is as shocked as everyone else because she knew what was going to happen to the king the night of the murder. Then rhe Kings sons left the scene, trying to get away fearing for their lives because they feel as if they will be next to die because one of them will be crowned king.
