The Deed Is Done

The two murderers, along with a third person, hide in the wooded park by the palace at dusk preparing to do the deed. When Banquo and Fleance approach, they light a torch and at that moment the murderers attack. Banquo is killed and he tells his son to leave. He is able to escape once one of the torches has been extinguished. They take Banquo's body to Macbeth and inform him of what happened.
